| Decent sprayer??? Some little bastards have scratched the bonnet on my mates '03 Astra GSi, he's been warned away from going to the local Vauxhall dealers so does anyone know a decent sprayer around the Derby area?
He's had a few quotes ranging from £250-350 for painting the bonnet and blending it into the wings, does this sound reasonable?
Cheers,
Adam |

| That sounds a little expensive TBH, you shouldn't be paying more than £80 in my experience. There are several good bodyshops in the Long Eaton area I know quite well. |

| Right, let's start at the top! http://www.stallionmotors.co.uk/faq.html
These guys do Ferrari and Lamborghini's most of the time, but quite affordable! The quality is perfection indeed.
Also top of the league are: http://www.newmansgarage.co.uk/
A middle of the range bodyshop would be: http://www.touchnottingham.com/busin...st/bid/3317701
They do cheaper prices for cash. Recently did my mate's S2000 full respray
Best of all though are St. Mary's (look in yellow pages) in Long Eaton. They do a full respray for £250 all inclusive. |

| Is that the guy who quoted me £180 for spraying a bonnet? What a joke. St Mary's have been going longer than most! |

| "Chavtastic" spent £17k on his last car. Most of which was on the big spec engine, nitrous kit and suspension/brakes.
I think I know enough about the local bodyshops to be able to judge them thankyou very much. |

| Back on topic, you shouldnt need the wings blending in as its a 03 plate car so the match would be fine, plus the radius of the wing would lose a little mis-match, its not like spraying a door.... |
