#1 | | Guest | Unofficial East Mids Meet! To All East Mids Members
As many of you in this area will already know, we havent had a meet recently.
Bringing this into mind a few of us have been discussing an idea of having an unofficial one, the people interested so far are the following:
Myself
Rupean
Reece (MK2_ASTRA_SXI)
Chris (Chris9).
And other fellow friends of the above people.
Therefore I have been considering this idea. And want to know basically how many people would be intrested in attending.
I am open to suggestions on all aspects of this meet, time date etc, tho feel it should be a sunday to make it easier for more people to turn up.
Thanks for reading people, and would look forward to your replies.

| Guys
Olly, i would prefer that this is held as an official MIG meeting rather than unofficial with Olly organising it, for this meet only at the moment. please can only one person do this, as many can make a mess and maybe cause confusion.
Please try and choose a location which is central to the EM region, counties available in reigons forum.
Guys lets use this opportunity to see what you can do and how well it turns out.
guys who want to attend please respond here and if you thinky our going to be busy then book the day now, so the meet can be a success.
we have a list as above, cut and paste if you like its worked before.
Tom Williams

#5 | | Guest | Nice one Tom!
So people, who would be remotely interested in attending an OFFICIAL East Mids Mig Meet???
Let me know guys and gals, East Midlands consists of:
Leicestershire
Lincolnshire
Nottinghamshire
and East Yorkshire
Obviously, MIG members that are not in these areas - ARE still allowed to attend and please do, to give you a chance to meet other members, to put a face to the name etc...
Replies galore please people!

#7 | | Guest | Nice one Charm... so far, all i know is that its going to be a Sunday, as stated above - simply because its the best day for people to get around...
As for the date, i personally think the last Sunday of the month sounds good to me which is Sunday 30th June, as Pod is on the Sunday before...
Please let me know if this is unsuitable for anyone... if so, please put forward another date...
Thanks | |

#12 | | Guest | spread the word please... the people who have read about this thread - please spread the word and let as many fellow MIG members know as possible,
this is to give everyone a fair chance to join in the fun that people have at the meets.
For people who have never been to a meet before, dont be nervous because there are people going to this one who have never been to one either... so speak up and enjoy yourselves!

| boys to be fair to every 1 we need a venue ( legal ) just south of birmingham or not far from that ..
that way ppl who live south can get there and ppl who live north wont mind traveling that little extra miles to have a day out and have some fun ..
the same goes for the east & west ..
so how about we all go to corwall or devon every 1 knows where that is ..
( sorry just a bit of humour )
ok so lets just try and find a place first ..
that would help ppl . |

#16 | | Guest | Nice one Daz and Neil...
Right, OK... is everyone OK for date to be Sunday 30th June, or is this too soon.... if so - the following Sunday is fine by me (7th July) - (Please state in your reply... 30th or 7th)
As for venue... still ringing around some places... like Daz said - im searching around the middle to south of Birmingham way - would that be suitable for everyone - if not... please suggest another in order for us to change it.
Chris - oh yeh, forgot your still not driving - ooops! will you not pass and have a car within 4 weeks then - D'OH!

northampton and warwickshire are part of different regions
dazcav
i think birmingham is part of WM if i remember rightly or part of western region, cannot remember correctly
Overall the meet wants to be central to those 4 counties as possible |

#19 | | Guest | No Probs Tom...
I will starting asking around in the area central to the four counties listed above - not a problem...
Thanks Rupean, 30th is the most popular so far...
Thanks everyone for their input to this...

#25 | | Guest | Nice one Daz - i agree 100%...
so its kinda a National meet? not sure if Tom will like that - will ask him...
Im up for that, because that way - its a 100% good turn out... then other Co-Ords could bring convoys from their areas...
