Hi all,

I hope that everyone would like a Christmas meal organising, so thought I'd get the ball rolling. No venue at the mo' however I've got some ideas.

may well be up for this will keep an eye on the thread and once a date and place has been set will try and arrange babysitter for kids so missus can come too

TBH I don't mind where it is as long as its not putting the majority of people out getting there. We struggle enough to get people interested in meets so an easy to get to location is always a bonus.

Thats always an option mate as its 2 for 1 and my gf gets 20% off the total.

I'm planning on holding this months meet there but at the moment it slow going

there is a nice place out at M1 Junc 26... though the name i cant remember at the moment. its on the dual carriage way just down towards the island with the A610 if someone can enlighten me!

bump bump - there is one weekend in Dec i cant do, which is the sat/sun 10/11th, cus im navigating on the Cossack Road Rally, but the others should be good.

i come home from uni on fri 16th.
i am down this coming weekend 10/11 for a rally and to do my soddin' head gasket, but i dont think there will be time for a meal.
the 16/17th is good, possibly the 18th too.. any weekday after that is good also.

OK guys, I know there's not been alot of interest in this. Thanks to those who have though, its appreciated.

Right as time's running out I'm suggesting the 18th (Sunday) around mid afternoon. I'm checking to see if a table is free at Liz's pub but failing that or the majority wanting a different location I'll plan for there.

Do i have the opportunity to turn up on spec?
I shall try and let you know first thing in the morning - the only reason being that so far i have not managed to find out when my work want me to start now i am home for Xmas.
Fingers crossed somebody will be able to tell me when i pop in first thing tomorrow, so then i can come straight over.
It would be easier for me to let you know if i can attend by sending you a text rather than having to get back to a PC to post here, perhaps you could PM me your number neil?

Andrew - Currently the meet has been canceled as there was only going to be 3 people there and I couldnt hold the table unless I had a 100% number. Besides you and me from the EM, Epihd0r and a friend were going to come over (which is appreciated) but we decided it was best to cancel. I'm going to suggest that we have our Christmas meal in mid January due to the lack of interest now.

Sorry to mess you around
