    Convoy to TRAX 2005 (Sat 4th Sept)

    Hello everyone

    Olly has just reminded me that we need to sort out a convoy to this years TRAX Event at Silverstone.

    As there's only a week to go we have to act fast so can everyone going add there name to the list, then we can sort out where to meet up etc

    Trax is on the Sunday (4th) just to let you know

    Other people travelling down are...

    adamSRi (staying at mine night before)

    We wanna get there around the 6am time as we do every year, so propose we leave about 4:50am ish

    lol Yup its the Sunday. My date was set to 2004 for some reason!!

    6am! Do we really need to get there that early?

    True as this may be, why so early?

    I don't mind, just that getting there 3 hours before things kick off seems a bit over kill.

    we got there just bang on time last time me and olly went.

    was thee first to arrive on mig stand along with tom and sean but 20mins later is was getting very busy.

    Fair enough then matey, if thats what we need to do

    I've been to Silverstone over 40 times to see different events and races and understand that some require getting there earlier than others. We went into the circuit at 4am this year to get good places for the Superbikes lol.

    I drove on the stand with Olly last year cant remember you though, have i ever met you?

    Reckon we'll be put in that carpark again Olly?? Gates open at 7 so the pass says anyway.

    Update..

    Looking at Autoroute it should take 70 minutes my house (J25 M1) to TRAX. With that in mind and no trafic on a Sunday morning I'd guess that time is realistic, even with a 10 minute stop at J21 to round up the Leicester lot and carry on down. So, again looking at Autoroute I'd say to get there for around 6am the time for the J21 meet up would be no later than 5:30.

    Does this sound OK?

    I'll be back online tomorrow afternoon, so wont see any replies until then.

    Hope those times are OK. See you all on Sunday
