Yeah sorry about the confusion. As it was very late notice and kinda open to everyone I thought I'd post it in the general events sections so it could be used as a bump for the race day as well as a EM's 'meet'

You need a co co-ord, then when you cba to do something you say you were going to do for ages you can blame them instead, that seems to work well as well lmao

lol like your thinking! (you up for it then Triggor?)

On a serious note.... Things will improve 100% from March onwards. I've had no spare time since Christmas mainly because the other techy at work left, leaving me in the poo. The new guy starts on the 1st March so I'll have more time in the eveings and weekends to sort things out.

I'm going to need input from the EM's members though as there's not point organising anything if the numbers continue to be low. I did try to get some funding for future meets and maybe some prizes but all request fell in deff ears, which TBH made me lose some of my interest in organising meets. However this isnt an issue anymore as I aim to sort things out.

IIRC the only two big meets we've had recently have been the RR (you) and the Footy (me), other than that its always been the regular 'few' hard core members. Its not a case of losing anyone as the two meets I've mentioned are hardly typical. When I've organised meets before christmas we had a nice number of people saying they were going to turn up but on the day didnt. Some regions have members who are friends outside of Mig so their meets always have good numbers where as other regions only have a few people turn up, if their lucky.. This month I've done some phoning around different venues to see what costs are like (paintballing, karting, bowling and even rollerskating for a laugh) All of which I'd planned to do when the weather gets better. From now on I'm going to post the next meets details up at least 3 weeks in advance and phone the people who don't have www access at the same time. Thats the best I can do. I'm a little annoyed that people moan about things without first offering a hand, giving a suggestion or even seeing if things are OK. Anyway...

Hopefully 2005 will be a great year for Mig events and especially the EM region.

There are still a few issues that need sorting (updated members list etc). Which I will continue to try and get hold off.

Lets see how things go shell we?
