Can i ask how come you went for woodern not a solid build is it due to permissions as im assuming cost wouldnt of been far off the same? also i take it you are going to treat the wood aswell.

Hi, The garage was off of ebay, which cost £1565 that included 4 opening windows delivery to essex and they put it up. I didnt think I would get a brick built one for less than that. Yeah the wood will be painted the same as the fence. just need a warmer day...

Did a very good job of it overall, the clearing, laying the damp proof sheet and concreteing and the roofing felt etc. So waht was your overall cost for the whole project if you care to share, and how thick did you concrete bearing in mind it is for vehicular traffic that will be driven over it. (just curious and out of interest) cost of hiring the mini digger, and how many rolls of felt ou used, etc be all intersting to know.

Hi, One of my neighbours is a landscape gardener so I got him to do the job his price was £1100 that included the concrete which is 4/5inches thick. It will prob cost me a bit more as today he was laying shingle around the shed and clearing up a bit. He'l be doing the decking in the next few weeks its a compromise and keeps the misses happylmaoCant wait to move this!!

It is 20' long and the cars 13'ish so should be ok. Plus summers coming so will be able to roll it out!! But your probably right I did want it longer but wasn't allowed

There is a 8' x 5' tapering down to 3.75' base behind the garage this is for the mower pushbikes gardening bits and a compressor if I can find a decent one that is

Just having power in there will be a blessing as my other cars are in lockups and to do any work on them is a nightmare. You only have to forget one thing then its an hr of mucking about to get it. Also if it upsets me which im sure it will I can shut the doors and forget about it.
