Guys, we've been thinking about where to hold it for months... even before we mentioned it in the last update.
There was a reason we chose the south coast, mainly because we could get a barby going near the beach and make it a good fun afternoon.

My concern is that there is not much at Southend. There's arcades yeah, but that's not much of a get together if everyone's playing on those all afternoon.

What i suspect will happen is not a lot and we'll all just be waiting around for the cruise to start..and if not many cars turn up?

But don't think that we didn't put a lot of thought into it, because we did and if we were all going to be driving some distance, we didn't want it to be a disappointment. Also remember, not all our members are into cruises...

If you guys realy want Southend then that's fine. As I said we'll all chat on Sunday and see if we can't come up with something

Im not a fully paid up memeber YEt so u dont have to listen to me but i dont see that the sth coast i.e;Brighton is much further to go than Southend , certainly only an extra 1/2 hr from where i am and theres some sand at the sth coast !

How about Brighton (maybe not the best place on earth but pretty central)
