About LinkBacksSee a few of you lot live in northampton me and the otherhalf are looking at buying a house in northampton, wanna get outta leighton. I dont no round that area at all and is wondering if there is any area's that i should stay away from.

most of northampton....lol.
only kidding, deppends on what your looking for, i have lived in most of northampton, abington, easten, kingsthorpe, wellingborough..now live in the east near thrapston, very quiet, loads of green fields and a few pubs...but also cheap houses.

i no 2 places in northampton. a swimming pool called danes camp i think, and toys r us
danes camp is a cool lil pool lol. There are some decent and cheap new houses on the NEW non asosiation estates round here (wellingborough), but ALL of them border council estates. Like mine is on the queensway, although i have never really had any trouble, its not got a great reputation and it don't look pretty lol.
3 mains council estates round here, hemmingwell, queensway and kingsway. There are plenty of cheap houses on them but just look around there are some nice little patches.
As above - I'm round the corner from TiGrasshole on the Kingsway but the newer estate - you can get some reasonably priced houses (<£100k) and its fairly quiet once you get off the main estate.

I quite like LB, although recently it's got a little bit 'attitude' in places. What about places like Houghton Regis, MK, and Aylesbury

had loads of crap from people in LB so that why i wanna get away, we was looking at MK as mark works there but with the money i got i cant get anythin in the nicer area's
