| Mumsie's Calibra V6 is going in for a reshell Mum's calibra has been getting really tatty for a while now, rusty doors and rear arches and recently the top of the drip rails on the roof. Not worth repairing I have been looking for a facelift shell (galvanised chassis).
Went to check out a shell in Essex that is owned by Brain Stirrup's friend, Calibra turbo minus the LET (destined for a Corsa B). The thing is more or less totally rust free bar a spot of surface rust on the passenger door about 2mm across (looks like the paint was chipped off and rain got to it) and a car park ding on the drivers door.
We agreed a price of £500 for the whole car minus the engine (that includes the F28 and working 4x4 system). All going well it will be transported to Jamie's workshop next saturday as that is where I will be carrying out the work (cheers chap)
Trust me the car is filthy as its been sitting outside for an month with all the rain we have had.

| Re: Mumsie's Calibra V6 is going in for a reshell Stage 1 complete:
Went to Jamie's to await the arrival of mum's new shell. After doing a bit of moving gear and getting the new shell in I took some pics:
Shame jamie wouldn't let me have this:
This pic shows the scale of Jamie's new unit!!
