| Re: New car Its an R reg   ... owner told me its a 2.6v6 , maybe its just a 2.5 v6 then
plans ... supertourer or gsi bumpers , put the 19''s from the omega on , or thinking of getting VXR 19''s in white and putting them on
Had a lot of mods done to it aswell
De cat pipe
Gsi roll bars
Revised steering rack
Regal Lightened flywheel
mintex brakes
Toad full closure alarm
F23 Gearbox but not fitted.... is it worth fitting???
picking it up on wednesday and will get some better pics then

| Re: New car Thats the 2.5, you can tell as it has cable throttle, whereas 2.6 has fly by wire throttle.
The car is a prefacelift, with facelift 2.6/2.2dti front bumper ad facelift rear bumper and side skirts.
I think the car would have an F23 or F25 as standard, probably best to stick with whats in it.
An FPR = fuel pressure regulator - uping the fuel pressure helps get rid of a few flat spots on the v6 map.

Tom | aah thanks for that Tom , Thats where the confusement was then , The bloke whos selling it Didnt say anything about a 2.5 all he said was it has a 2.6 fpr
how do you know its a prefacelift i cant tell the difference  |

| Re: New car Dad picked it up on saturday  .. drove it all the way back from newcastle 350 miles and got here fine..... started it this morning and theres oil pissin out everywhere!!.. got a mechanic on his way down so will see what happens , hopefully it will be done before pv.. will get some pics up soon |

| Re: New car lol mechanic never came down yesterday and dads still at work so im gonna have to have a look myself, went on vectra owners club an they said its poss where the fan has cut away at the power steering pipe , so if it is that were lucky hope its nothing bad
fingers crossed that its going to be ready for pv |

On facelift cars they have one peice front lights and on the boot there is an extra kink all the way along thay ties in with lines on different rear ligths. |

tbh there crap... not the wheels just the way the previous owner treated them... the centre caps have had about a litre of glue just to glue them on and theres glue all over the wheels... |

| Re: New car had a test run tonight with the 19s on.. rub rub rub round every corner with nothing in the boot and no passengers , at pv i will have a boot full of cleaning products etc and 2 passengers... hmmm ... thinking of putting some spring adjusters on and taking them off when i get here.... anyone got any ideas??
