Yer, he seems to be pretty good. Tony his name is and he's really friendly

He sprayed Becky's spoiler for her for £110, which we thought was pretty good. I have another mate with a VXR who uses him for spraying and stuff, he recently had a big dent and nasty stone chip on his bonnet repaired by Bodytone and speaks quite highly of him.

That's the thing...you drive it to Bodytone almost standard, get a load of low ass bodykit fitted and get a big fat FAIL when you try and drive out lmao

Nah, I'm sure it's ok cos there's always a couple of cars he's done outside. Usually an Orange Polo and a Green Golf. Both look pretty low

like I said before the guy doing my carlton is a miracle worker, based about 10 miles north of Milton Keynes (Very close to Santa pod).

Again like I said he isn't cheap, but IMO you should never skimp on things like this because unless you really lucky the usual thing that happens is the paint finish/prep or thickness of paint is substandard and you end up with it flaking or going dull or whatever quickly.

To put it into perspective (something I never had when I took my carlton to him) here is what has been done and how much it's cost (BTW this guy hasn't bumped up the quoted price even though he found more problems)

Full respray inc door/boot shuts and engine bay slam panel
All paintwork removed to bare metal (because it was THAT bad)
dents removed from most of the doors (car park type)
Drivers door rebuilt (got a nice rusty surprise when he sanded the paint and found loadsa filler)
    Rear arch extensions smoothed in
front and rear bumpers repaired (cracked)
    aerial hole smoothed
    boot panel de-rusted
Spoiler removed, mounts rebuilt and spoiler tweeked to fit the rear 1/4s better (before they caught slightly on the paintwork... damaging it)
    Rust around rear window killed
huge deep scratch in bonnet removed
Heavily damaged bonnet rear corners rebuilt (I was amazed at this as they were bent to fook!!)
    Bonnet badge recess smoothed
Painted in a metallic paint with subtle flip (not telling u the colour... it's a surprise)

Drive in drive out price: £2500

Considering the sheer size of the car and the work thats gone into it I think it's a very fair price.
