Doubtful there will be another meet this year after the previous poor attendences. No point if only 3 or 4 turn up

If I want a meet I go to see Nick at his house, apon arriving I look at his car for 5 seconds. Then go and say hi.

    This provides:
A nice car to look at (something u would see at a meet)
A central region member (this means there will be 2 members in one place.... about the average you would see at a meet)
Food (Nick is good at cooking, and it doesn't make me ill either! (unlike some pub food))

I'm gonna try and sort something for October, will probably be a joint meet, at a carvery in aylesbury way.

Nick and I will chat and confirm.
There is a pub near NMS, but if people wanna pop up on Saturday for a meet the more the merrier, we may even try and coax you to the rr.

having been a regional organiser for another popular vauxhall website i feel that if meets are organised to take place on a set time every month they it works better, since i stepped down from the roll the new orgainser has done a few meets in as many years, this has lead to a break down of the region for them.... i have been a member of mig for a few years but only just been a paid up member so im looking forward to attending some of these meets and helping with the region in anyway.....

I think we'll see how things pan out, in my mind we have 3 options, the 1st of which has been the case, this failed as the redion is so big, the 2nd of which we are now trying, not to much success, and the 3rd that we've not yet tried.

    1. 1 meet in the centre of the region once a month.
    2. 2 meets, 1 in the south (1st sunday), 1 in the north (3rd sunday).
    3. 1 meet, alternating location from north to south every month.

As Rich said that was what used to happen until it got to a point where people couldnt be bothered to travel 30-40 mins to the meet. At its peak we had 15+ people at the meets in the old days
