    Need Cheering Up Guys......

Had an RTA last week in my Cab!

Some stupid old guy decided to stop at a set of GREEN lights on my way into work - I'd just managed to stop behind him when I got shunted up the arse by a Focus!

To make matters worse, she then got shunted by a Peugeot and the story continues.....

1st Guy (who caused this accident) hasn't claimed as he only got tapped by me - My car has front and rear damage & my boot has a ripple in it the size of an arm!!!!! - Focus and Peugeot are both write off's so I suppose I got lucky!

Just waiting for the Estimate for Repair - can anyone suggest a good place round here for the work to be done?

    (A very p**sed off) Becky

    Nooooooooo

Sorry to hear that Bex, hope the damage isnt too bad and its not going to be a write off

Sounds like the boot isnt too bad, thats usually the bit that writes off a car if its bad.

As for Bodyshops try Bodytone in Wokingham, theyre very well priced and usually they give a discount if you dont mind having their name on your car. Mine was resprayed and had new arches a few years ago for £600 and they offered to knock the Vat off Claires when she wanted her GSI sprayed a while back.

    Might be worth a try.

    As for cheering you up

    Cheers

Are any of these Vauxhall Repair Approved? The one my Insurance Company/Garage have called out havent even bothered to turn up to do the estimate yet.

Think its called Berkshire Body Repair in Newbury! Still no word.......

Car's still drivable tho - so glad I stopped otherwise I'd be the mug payin 4 all this work! lmao

Not sure on whether they're approved or not. The insurer tend to send the car to their allotted bodyshop providing there is one on your area.

    Good luck what ever happens

its your Car therefore its your choice who repairs it NOT your insurance company.
They are infact breaking the law telling you to take it to "one of their 'recomended' repairers"
