    Central Region Events

    You should all have received these in the latest update letter, but for those of you who are new below are the national and regional events planned for this year:

    July

    Fri 8th – Sun 10th VBOA Billing Rally, Billing Aquadrome, NorthamptonVauxhall only static car show. 2/3-day camping event. Large trade area, arena with various displays, craft fair. Large club stand.

    Sun 17th Central (North) Static meeting

    August

    Sun 7th Cruise to the Coast - Details to Follow

    Sun 14th Ripspeed Donny South, North Weald Airfield, EssexStatic Car show, trade stands, ‘Run what you brung’ 0-60 sprint strip.

    September

    Sun 4th Trax 2004, SilverstoneTrack day at Silverstone race circuit. Static car show with the option to take your car out on the track. There will be a club stand to show your car, and many trade stands.

    Sat 10th Castle Coombe 2 - Details as above

    Sun 18th Central (North) Static meeting

    October
    Sat 1st Rolling Road, Northampton Motorsport, Northampton - Details to follow

    November

    Sun 6th Banger racing, Standlake Arena, Oxford - Big Bang Fireworks Under & Over 1800cc Bangers

    Sun 20th Central (North) Static meeting

    December

    Sun 4th Central Static meeting

    TBC Christmas meal - Details to follow

    As you know HMS Broadside will be going out on the track, now I know a few of you have asked to be co-pilots but however Claire got in there first, as such a port-a-loo is being installed as well as reinforced 'holy' handles.

    So i missed the cruise then?
    Is the rolling road going to happen? If not could someone let me know please as i'll book up with VVOC otherwise.

    Cruise to the coast was cancelled due to no-one wanting to attend last year and with the other stuff over June/July we didnt get the time to arrange anything.

    Rolling Road is going ahead as planned, Claire has the details but not sure when she'll post em up.
