Regional meet Sun 3rd April

Hi All,
Just to let you know, there will be a meet on Sunday 3rd April in Aylesbury at 2pm.

However, Nick and I feel that it's about time we looked for a different pub so we will be going up to Aylesbury on Friday to try and find somewhere suitable for out meets.

New details will be posted once we have decided on the new venue.

Claire

Has the Crooked Billet been done before? I drove past it today and it seems to have a pretty big car park.

Which one??

Theres a Crooked Billet on the A41 near Bicester but its a bit too far from Aylesbury for most. They tend to be a bit pricey for food tho

Meet will be at the Bell as normal, hopefully Claire can edit her post with the full details

Sounds like one of the ones i noted, decided to cross it off due to the time it takes to get from Aylesbury. Took fooking ages due to the traffic

If the Crooked Billet is too far that will be too.

Yeah pretty much is its the nearest big town to the centre of the region with good roads in and out.

I may well take a mince past the Crooked Billet on the way in on Sunday and have a closer inspection.

I believe we checked that one, we did about 4 in and around Tring/Aston Clinton, will double check tho

EDIT: I remember, we didnt check it as it we visited last time we were looking. Its an Out & Out pub i.e. very expensive for food etc.
