When i first took over the co-ord job i had a list of members who wanted to attend meets and those just wanted to go to shows, we also had almost 20 members who had no interest in meets/shows only discounted parts and getting a discount on their insurance from being a member of a car club, 7 i think who were only interested in track days. From as long as i remember its only ever been the same people give or take a few who visit from time to time even as far ago as 3 years ago its was a lot of the same people who attend the meets now.

I know it's old ground, but can I just add that it doesn't help with the Central forum being in the members only. It makes it difficult for potential new members to decide that they fancy meeting up with their area. I realise they can just turn up, or join, but...

I'm starting to think that we should keep it in Aylesbury for the time being, unless we get more response from Northampton members following the mailout I'm going to do in the new year.

If more Northants people show interest then may consider alternating meets between MK and say Wycombe.

Other option is if the region is split, but this would need a lot more thought.

I don't really care tbh... The more miles the less likely i am to go

Might add the reason being is i work weekends and drive a ****ter of a cav at the minute (Until the summer months)that i really don't like driving far!
