errrrr, guess that leaves me out then, a bit gay imo coz you'll have a job rounding up 15-20 peeps anyway coz people say they're interested then don't go coz of the money!

IF I'm allowed to go then I'm DEFFO up for it, been wanting to go for ages.

Wouldn't worry mate, chances of filling up all the spaces with members anyway is slim to none, migweb users and any of their friends will be called on to save the day no doubt

Re: Central Region Karting Grand Prix

MK must have 2 tracks if this one isn't called Daytona.

    http://www.daytona.co.uk/intro.php?v...ilton%20keynes

Daytona is the proper one which is used for the formula championships and is a great circuit.

Oxford I've also done (if its the one out near Grove I think, in a massive white hangar on an industrial estate) and its OK but not half as good as Daytona in MK.

75 laps at Daytona would blinking hurt and may be better as a 2 per team event (at least you get a chance to talk to people too then). Or failing that 2 shorter races of ~35 laps which is still a blinking long time.

I'm sure Daytona would organise an event to suit your needs.

We have a works team (not a factory works team, but a team at work) and Daytona at both MK or Sandown are 1st choices always. We came 1st in class at Le Mans last weekend too

Personally I'd do Daytona, 2 shorter races, finishing order reversed for race 2, total points at the end to decide winner. Or teams of 2, over the 75 laps, as you'll need a fuel stop anyway for 75 laps so may as well do a driver change.

    Just my 2p

Whatever you do, have a blast, but take care. Last time out at Sandown I broke 2 ribs on the steering wheel in a massive shunt. Kidneys hurt like hell too.
