    Paintballing

    Right ho, listen up.

I have been pointed in the direction of a Paintballing venue by 2 different people recently, they have both had a days action there and have been very impressed by the venue. The place was completely rebuilt last year so is relatively new in regards to some places you can go to.

    WEBSITE

The site is in 16 acres of woodland near High Wycombe, Bucks, just 4 minutes from junction 4 of the M40.

They do both half and full day packages, the full day package includes a hot cooked meal while tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash, and water is available throughout the day.

The packages they do are as follows:

    Package 1
    1500 Paintballs
    All Equipment
    Full Cooked Lunch
    Complimentry Hot & Cold Refreshments
    Additional Paintballs £5.00 per 100
    £70.00 Per Person

    Package 2
    1000 Paintballs
    All Equipment Full Cooked Lunch
    Complimentry Hot & Cold Refreshments
    Additional Paintballs £5.00 per 100
    £50.00 Per Person

    Package 3
    600 Paintballs
    All Equipment
    Full Cooked Lunch
    Complimentry Hot & Cold Refreshments
    Additional Paintballs £5.00 per 100
    £35.00 Per Person

    Package 4
    300 Paintballs
    All Equipment
    Full Cooked Lunch
    Complimentry Hot & Cold Refreshments
    Additional Paintballs £5.00 per 100
    £25.00 Per Person

    Package 5
Purchase Your Paintballs As You Play
    All Equipment
    Full Cooked Lunch
    Complimentry Hot & Cold Refreshments
    Additional Paintballs £6.00 per 100
    £10.00 Per Person

What i want to do is gauge everyones interest, it probably wont be until July time as we have events up till then. Which package do you think sounds the best? Bare in mind the fact that you will if trigger happy use 200 odd paintballs each game and the day may consist of 5-6 games. So buying in bulk beforehand will save £15-£20

I have sent the place an e-mail asking if we can use our own paintballs, they say you can on the site but i just want to double check. If this is the case then i shall purchase somewhere in the region of 5000 paintballs and sell them to you at about half of what you will pay at the venue. Or you can purchase some yourself but make sure thay are .68 caliber. You can purchase ammo etc from HERE, as you'll see you can buy paintballs, paint bombs, smoke bombs etc at reasonable prices.

For those of you who are worried about gettin hurt, they do provide full protective gear including flack jackets if needed, or go down ya local army surplus store and get kitted up

Yeah, go for the cheapest package deal though, I'd pay £75 for laps on a track day or Karting, but deffinately not for paintballing. Looking good for a day out. I KILL YOU NICKYBOY!

    Re: Paintballing

Guys, in Northampton they have had people from Delta Force selling tickets. They were offering tickets for just £6 each! Normally £25! Get free equipment, free gas and paint balls are half price! You buy them in 8's and if you but 16, you get 8 free! So i bought some lol.

    Their website is www.deltaforcedirect.co.uk

But, I think this offer is only done through promoters on the street but you could try calling them.

It does look very good (Chelsea team go there and Prince Wills and Harry)

    Re: Paintballing

Cheers James i looked at Delta but they wont let you use your own equipment etc so it ends up being hugely expensive

    Re: Paintballing

Yeah you leave the game once you are hit, do what i usually do and stay behind a tree/bush and lie down and take pot shots at peeps as they come your way then advance via the left or right flank. You're only usually out iof the marshall says so, you can sometimes get away with it if the painball doesnt splatter properly.

Trouble is that it can be expensive you if get carried away which is why i plan to buy a load of paintballs so we can share the cost.

2000 paintballs will cost approx £30
At the price you'd pay at the site 2000 will cost £120

If i can get a load for £15 per 1000 then we can all have that many.

    Yeah?
