I'm going to this, hoping to get some track time in mongo's car (well he is anyway) I might take my budget banger astra GSI round and give it a good seeing too, its completely standard which will make it interesting braking into quarry LOL

Nah you will be fine mate 120 over Avon rise hard onto the brakes onto the inside line for quarry and boot it to hell coming out the otherside, run wide and set up for the chicane. Just dont get it too tight on the inside at Quarry or your arse will overtake you. lmao

Just a point here to ya all.

Track time is open to all but Migclub Members have discounted time for early slots.

Also you need to be a club member to park on the club stand.

Would be good to see the Nova out on track John, fingers crossed!

On my front I am going to run, i don't care what car i've got. But the plan is to fit the new CIH engine to the manta as a straight swap, failing that push hard to get the straight six in the Carlton. Or run Carlton as it is.

    Any price gen on running?

Its was £20 last year for 5 laps, either that web site is wrong or they've put the price up.

I can't afford to run at that price even if my car was ready.

Thats what I was thinking Luke, its £30 on the day for 5 laps, which is about 15mins (£2/min)

3 track passes (£90) can pay for a swirl pot or a new clutch kit for my car!

Im not tight i just can't afford it at the moment.

Its not cheap, considering hiring a track for about 9 hours with somebody like bookatrack.com is about £150, thats like £16.67 per hour.
