1997 subaru impreza sti type r

Selling my subaru as I cannot afford to insure or run anymore due to losing my job.

STI type r 2 door its on a p reg with 126741 on clock but was running in KM untill 110000 now running in MPH allthough the mileage is irrelevant as it has a rebuilt engine with only around 1000 miles on it!

It will come with 11 months MOT and tax 29/02/12

It has recently had a new engine fitted which had been fully rebuilt. the engine spec: the bottom end is a genuine STI4 with new ACL race series bearings, the pistons are genuine forged STI from a version 5 engine which were in mint condition with new rings. The block was acid etch/cleaned so is like new has a RCM oil pump fitted, new cam belt, Cometic head gaskets and the heads were skimmed. The inlet manifold was also painted at this time. Ran in with oil changes at 20,100,500 miles with mobil 1 10w60 used.

It has 17" alloys, carbon fibre front strut brace, lightweight body panels, stainless steel cat back exhaust, new knock sensor, new maf, big front mount intercooler and alloy pipework full prodrive suspension. Piller pod with boost gauge, and temp gauge (not connected) tracker, clifford concept 650 mark 2 alarm with turbo timer and remote start option which is not wired up at the moment. CD player with aux input.

The flywheel has been professionally lightened and balanced and its had a new paddle cluch fitted at the same time as the new engine.
