    Renault Clio 172 Cup, 52 Plate, 102k £1850.

    Car Make: Renault
Car Model: Clio Sport 172 Cup
    Engine Size: 2.0L
    Registration Year: 2002
    Mileage: 102,000

For sale we have a 52 plate Clio Sport 172 Cup in Mondial Blue.

It is taxed until the end of March 12 and the MOT is due 1st April 2012.

It has just ticked over to 102,000 miles. I've owned the car since March and bought it on 94,000 miles.

Unfortunately the service book hasn't been kept up to date but but does show the cambelt being swapped in 2009 although it doesn't state the exact mileage.
I used to work with the previous owner who gave me some info. He said the clutch was swapped over the last couple of years while he owned it as well as the cambelt.
I swapped the aux belt, oil and air filter last at 98,000 miles.

I have been using the Clio every weekend to get from where I work in Colerne back to my house and family in Redditch, so I rely on my car a lot!! Hence any problems that arise with my cars always get dealt with there and then!!

Since I bought the car in march it has had:

    Disks and pads all round.
    Rear shock absorber.
    Two new rear bearings.
Passenger side bearing and lower arm.
    Aux belt.
    Exhaust mounts.
Two new front tyres two months ago.
The antenna base on the roof was also swapped out with a new genuine Renault part when I bought the car as the previous one had stopped functioning which is a common fault on these.

Since buying it, it has also had a sports cat put on it and an RS-Tuner map which improves the power delivery and drive-ability lower down so that it doesn't suddenly throw all the power at you once you hit 5,000 RPM and makes it so much nicer to drive.

The only noticeable marks on the car are the light scuff on the front bumper on the passenger side (pictured) and the roof has a couple of little ripples on as if someone has ran over the top of it. Both marks were there when I bought it and I don't really notice them hence why I haven't repaired them. Someone like den-right would probably sort the roof out in an hour.

The interior is clean and everything works as it should. There are no rips or tears in the seats and the only mark on them is where the grey material has gone slightly lighter on the drivers seat bolster from getting in/out but it is not ripped or worn through. Other than this the car just needs a valet inside and it's gleaming again.

The only reason I am swapping the Clio out is because I need something slightly bigger for all my kit that I move around with work. Also I have injured my knees slightly through work and being 6 foot 2 in a Clio doesn't help! If it wasn't for this then I would be keeping it as I love the car to bits!!

    Price: £1850

Location: I am in the Bath area through the week and Redditch area (J3, M42) on the weekends.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

    Cheers,
    Stu.
