For sale we have my wifes 1.6 Astra Club in Star Silver. We bought this 3 years ago when we found out we were having a nipper as an upgrade from her 106 and it has served us well. I have just bought Lucy a newer Astra SXi and just need this one off the drive.

MOT until Sep 12

Currently on 87k, the car gets serviced yearly by myself and the cam belt was swapped out around 10k ago. I'll have to double check the exact mileage the next time that I am home.

Disks and pads were swapped out just over a year ago and all the brake pipes were swapped out last year for the previous MOT.

The body work is tidy for the age although it has picked up a couple of flaws. The lacquer has started cracking on the front bumper just under the passenger headlight, a piece of lacquer the size of a 10p has chipped off under the drivers headlight, there is a small car park ding on the rear quarter with a light scratch to the lacquer, there is a scuff on the rear bumper on the passenger side, some scuffs to the lacquer on the back of the bumper and a couple of scratches in the lacquer just above the passenger tail light.

The body work is solid all round and not rotten.

The interior is very tidy for is age and although we have a dog and a kid there has always been a seat cover over the back seat. Unfortunately there is a cigarette burn on the drivers seat from a previous owner but a set of seats from a Club could probably be picked up for �10-20 on ebay if you really wanted to swap them out.

Comes with the standard Vauxhall CD player.

The car has been looked after as it has been used daily for my wife and son so any attention that it needed it got ASAP. But as it is a 12 year old car Lucy just fancied something a bit newer.

I have tried to take pic's of any flaws in the body work and with the exception of the scuff on the corner of the bumper and the cracked lacquer, most scratches on the car would probably buff out. The bumpers could probably be swapped out from a breakers for about �10-20 each and save time and money from respraying them. I just never bothered as the car was bought for a practical run around and not a show car.

Would be great as a run around or as a commuter and with long tax and MOT it just needs insuring and you're away.
