hello everyone im putting g121yta up for sale again im asking £2000 for it reason for sale i cant justify keeping the car due to the car not being used! any pics can be found on astra-mk2 as the car is well known! trust me the car is worth every penny! it puts a smile on my face and turns heads, car is only used in dry and sits in my unit in the warm on rubish days was on mk2 stand at billing this year aswell
since owning the car i have rebuilt the engine new oil pump gasket, sump gasket, water pump cambelt kit, exhaust manifold gasket, oil and filter change, rocker cover gasket all parts from autovaux also fitted 2 new toyo proxes t1r on the front they were £180 alone! i prob spent £600 on the car in the last 2 months!
This car features the following:
•C20XE with fast road cams (I believe the engine to have been taken from a Cavalier GSI and has benefited from a top end rebuild some time in 2007) I have hub dyno print somewhere that indicated (think)140 odd bhp at the hubs which is around 165 bhp at the fly wheel
•Vectra 5 stud hub conversion which allows the fitment of larger brake callipers and 288mm disks (the disks and pads were themselves renewed with standard replacement items approximately 1 year ago.)
•Rear disks and calipers also from Vectra GSI
•Braided brake hoses front and rear
•Vectra GSI deadlocks and remote central locking
•Cavalier electric 'one touch' windows
•Koni Yellow top adjustable Dampers
•Eibach Mk3 Astra GSI sport springs (5mm lowering from standard) - top mounts were replaced with new Mk2 parts when fitted in 2009
•Engine bay upper alloy strutbrace
•Cavalier turbo alloy wheels
•Powerflow Decat pipe, standard mid pipes with stainless steel silencer, stainless steel twin exit backbox
•Rear quarter panels have been cut out and replaced to a very high standard
•Both sills have been cut out and replaced
•Various panels have been blown over - overall paint coverage is good (a few marks and scratches etc)
•Fitted with a brand new heater/blower motor - carriage tray sealed when fitted
•Fuse box replaced due to prior issue with hot spots on original fuse locations
•Immobilised (Stirling Touch CAT 2 - Toad product)
•Kenwood CD player
•Sony 6x9's and kenwood front speakers
•Interior is in good condition and is the lighter rainbow trim
mods carried out since i owned the car:
power cap
oil breather
rocker cover breather mod
new k&n panel filter
painted brake calipers black
apart from that the car is as it was when i brought it, it pulls well no bangs or knocks, there are a couple of bad points to the car it is how it was when i brought it!
1) both rear quarter pannels the lauqer has crazed
2) still leaking oil will reseal the sump gasket at the weekend
3) the bonnet gaps are a bit wide due to the car having a v6 in it previously
4) very slight rust under rear spoiler and very small bubble on roof as it was when i brought it!
