Hi all,
1963 mk1 cortina 1500 super
In aqua blue, is rot free, had has the outer sills that have been done over time, there is no rust anywhere, has been on ramps with a few of my mates ready to attack it with screwdrivers and they gave up and had a brew
Although the front wing has a bubble the size of a 1p coin.
Currently there is no engine or box, the prop and rear beam is there, i think its a 4.1 diff, its an open diff, not an lsd.
Its been lowered all around, has an avenger rack conversion, where the rack is bolted to the back of the crossmember, so its still a front bowl sump but rack converted
All the loom is there and the wiring has been converted to negative earth, so an alternator can be used.
A strip speedo, but needs a new speedo cable.
The brakes all work well, discs and calipers ont he front, as it would of had drums origionally.
Gt seats in the front with no wear, an ever so slight fag burn in the drivers side (whoops), all the door cards are mint.
The wheels are 7jx13 superlites with fancy tyres (ae something or other cant remember the exact model)
A pre-x flow 4 branch and single box system is still on the car, so a pre xflow will bolt straight in and plug up within an hour!
So here she is, redy for anything to be dropped in her, my plan was a zetec, front bowl sump, 5 speed, chassis mounts, prop made up, wire up, carbs and mot it.
There is not tax and mot but the tax is frrreeee
And it would sail through an mot, infact i reckon the dude would prob pay you for taking it to his garage
Inluded in the sale will be a lotus 2.5" twin box ashley exhaust system.
There is many people who will tell you how good of a mk1 this is

I had a bit oh greif with a fella on turbosport over this... Umming and arring whether he was coming to see it or not then called me at sparrows fart telling me he was in manchester... good times i live in luton
So please ignore all that, im trying to sell a genuine car, veiwing is highly reccomended as its a beaut.. if your into your classic its hard to say no.. trust me
