Description

as above but with loads done, recently rebuilt engine runnin smooth, as new. A couple of issues:

Blow from the exhaust, still well within warranty so when i get time ill be takin it back to get fixed.

Tracking needs doin but im skint till the end of the month so it will have to wait till then.

Needs new tires on the front due to the tracking being off.

I had another calibra before this one but it was scrapped, when i handed it over i handed in the log book for this car, i have letters from the salvage yard and dvla to prove, iv sent off for a new one should be here shortly.

The exterior is in good condition for a 1995 car.

the interior is in exceptional condition with the cream leather intact and looking good, the usual drivers seat bolster has got a very slight and i mean slight bit of wear, but no where near the usual that you find.

what iv bought for this car over the last few months;

Cone air filter.

MAF adapter.

Sportex straight through race tube from the CAT back.

Haiki straight tube backbox.

BK Racing 299 with good tires all round.

G-Max Shocks

Lowering springs from Germany, 50/45mm front and rear respectively, comes with TUV certificate - and wierdly, some German Haribo!!!

Car is now lower than in the pictures.

Smoked rear lenses.

Sony stereo, MP3, Ipod, AUX out - £117

Fli 12" sub + carpeted enclosure.

Two coats of Waxoil underseal a few months ago.

No rusty arches or sills, nice and tidy.


Total around £485 spent on extras.

*** The head went on this car at around 102977 miles, i had it stripped and skimmed.

I thought whilst i was on with it i might as well get everything brand new:-

*Payen Gasket set - which consits of the Head, Inlet, outlet manifold, rocker and even the Trottle body.

Plugs

C20xe Injectors

HT leads

and most importantely......

Timing Kit - this is the belt and tensioner.

All this and a few quid to my mate who helped me strip it come to just over £300
(have reciepts)

The car runs like new although now the new exhaust sounds like its developed a blow somewhere as its a bit raspy, its still well within warranty and if iv got time ill go down and play war and get them to fix it up.

As i said the car now runs like new, brand new power, and should have at least another few years left in her yet.

Hence the price.

This car is very reliable and is nippy and sounds very meaty indeed, as it is only an 8 valve the insurance and running costs are minimal.

great car for the newbys or for those feeling the pinch.

The car also has TAX till the begining of January, MOT till the end of June 2010.

There isnt a lot of history with this car i dont know what the previous owner did with it all but i do have the last MOT cert and it is in good working order, drive away!

The milage is 103200 approx, quite low for the year.

New tires today £85 cost for part worn 205/45/17 on the fronts.

Tracking been done,the only thing that im waiting for now is the V5 Logbook!! It was about a week and a half ago so hopefully ill get it back or at least here from them soon.
