Due to reasons I cannot go into, My car is up for sale.

I really regret I need to do this, but I know I am doing the right thing.

I would love to see it go to a good home as it's the best car I have ever owned, and have spent endless time working on it to get it how it is today.

I'm looking for £2000 for a quick sale, and that includes EVERYTHING, including the ICE.

I even have a few spares that I will throw in for good measure, including a set of 3.2 J cams which will take this up to GSI power and beyond.

Only bad points I can think of are:
  • Drivers seat bolster a bit worn
  • Small dent in the bonnet, see here. (Although the whole front end has just been painted, so otherwise, it's perfect.)
  • Couple of minor defaults on the front bumper, but only viewable upon close inspection.
  • Needs a new gear knob (I cut off the old one, and have bodged one on there for now as I was planning to buy and fit the quickshift kit- £75 but never got round to it).
  • Engine management lights on- o2 sensor, however it's not effecting the cars MPG or anything whatsoever. I haven't bothered replacing the sensor as I was planning to remove the pre-cats to get some more power.
  • A few scattered stonechips, although for the miles this car has done- it has a LOT less than it should.. this is because it only came out the bodyshop just over a month ago.
  • Tiny dent in the roof- Hardly visible but I know it's there.
  • Not sure when the cambelt & water pump was last done as when I bought the car, the garage said it had just been done 2,000 miles ago, but the last owner never had a receipt for it as he done it himself, so for peace of mind- I would say do it.
  • Air con is not working- There's a leak in a pipe however I have the pipe here, it just needs fitted then re-gassed. If you wish, you can fit the pipe yourself while you're here and I'll go re-gas it for you. The re-gassing is paid for anyway.
It' on about 136,000, but still pulls like a train, and apart from a couple of electrical problems that are now fixed (Was the multi-timer), this car has given me endless miles of fun, comfort, and enjoyment.

It's taxed until the end of October 2009, and it was only MOT'd about a month ago. It has part service history, and was fully serviced about 2-3 months ago.

I am the 3rd owner of this car from new, and the last owner was a garage who took it as a trade-in, so just sat on their forecourt until I purchased it.
