Question Calibra 4x4 Turbo '96 Low miles

    • * * *£4,695.00 * * *
    • I will be looking to sell within the next few months, maybe sooner?
    • Last of the production - Calibra 4x4 Turbo
    • August 1996 “P”
    • Tax - 10/04
    • MOT- 27/07/04
    • Titanium Silver
    • 2 Previous Owners (always owned locally to me since new)
    • HPI Clear
    • Low mileage - 62k
    • Lots of dealership service history (to 50,062 mile) and care by enthusiast
    • Very expensive CAT1 alarm with certificate
    • West Midlands

I’ve owned Calibras for nearly 5 years. I used to own a last of the line XE (April ’94) and over 2 years ago decided I wanted the top model - 4x4 Turbo. I waited many months for a good ’96 one came up for sale. This was rather fortunate for me and unfortunate for the last owner who had it repossessed. All outstanding finance is settled. Reluctantly for sale to make way for a classic car. Only covering 12,000 miles since my ownership (15h October 2001) but maintained regardless of cost.

    Many thousands in receipts:
    • New clutch and flywheel supplied + fitted by Vauxhall Dealership
    • Tyres rotated every 3k miles along with an oil change (magnatec) + oil filter
    • NGK V groove Spark Plugs
    • Accumulator bulb
    • Bosch distributor cap and rotor arm
    • New HT Leads
    • New coolant temp sensor
    • New coolant level sensor
    • New washer bottle level sensor
    • New sump and the better 8v gasket / baffle plate
    • New rear handbrake shoes
    • New rear discs and pads (Fronts are in excellent condition - see further down)
    • New plenum to intercooler hose
    • Probably more that I have forgotten too

    Almost kept original
    • EBC grooved front brake discs and greenstuff pads
    • Full Powerflow stainless steel exhaust plus de-cat (+ Cat)
    • Momo 17” M1 alloy wheels finished in graphite
    • Dunlop 215x40/17 Tyres - Plenty of tread
    • LED smoked oval repeaters
    • Sill protectors etched with “Calibra”
    • 82 degree thermostat

As it left the factory (I checked with Vaux HQ before buying):
    • creme leather interior
    • White dials as standard (on the later models) including oil pressure and volt meter
    • CD Player as standard
    • Irmscher boot lid spoiler with integrated brake light

Welcome to inspect and test drive providing valid insurance policy is held. A rare opportunity to own this performance car in such good condition. I will be looking to sell within the next few months. Anyone interested…
