Astra's driving position seems ok to me... it was the Nova that was mis-aligned with the steering wheel going towards the centre of the dash, and left of the body.

the car in a whole is great, handles well but its not me, and also its driving position i cant get to grips with, i can get it comfortable but it doesnt feel right for some reason. there is something wrong about it, there are other factors too.
You just feel like you are sitting on top of the car, not in it. The GTE is so much better and you can really feel in control of the car, more part of it. I'm not saying the Cavalier promotes sporty driving, but the 'driving' position is very good.
i feel like im sitting in mine.
maybe thats to do with the fact of the scooby seats which are slightly lower and you can adjust it so your arse is down and legs slightly higher.
ive driven a few cars now. ford focus driving position is nasty, does feel like your sit on it. mk4 astra suffers a little from the same.
the new honda civic is quite spot on with driving position, especially the type r.
