i would assume that a rocker gasket change on a mk3 astra is pretty straight forward, anyone done it got any helpfull tip as ive not done it b4 on a vaux. ?
This may not apply to the 16v (which has a rubber gasket?), but ensure the engine is stone cold, like first thing in the morning. With the 8v cork and rubber jobbies, if there's any heat, and therefore expansion, in the engine, it means you over tighten the gasket and it gets crushed when the engine gets up to temp.
