What engine in the Audi Craig?

The cyclist with his panel made me laugh there. Was it windy? Maybe he was using some renewable energy to get somewhere haha

I've a lot of love for they Audis! Would love a red one lowered on Quattro Sport wheels (although the wheels would probably be worth twice as much as the car!).

Did you not notice it was a Turbo?

Same 5cyl they used in the UR quattro's, so either 2.1 Turbo 10v, or 2.2 Turbo 20v.

Either way both properly epic engines with either 200hp - 220hp. That one in the pic had only done 112k too !

Not quick by todays standards, but good fun in a field.

And the running gear is worth having.

Re: Stuff I've seen on the road...

Just finished for the day now parked up about 20ft from the sea south of Southamption looking out at the isle of Wight. Got a couple of pics on my journey.

Firstly always make me smile whenever I see one of these

Looks good in black, even when it's filthy

Is this the new 2013 Viper?

Not a great shot but that would be a GT3 RS, I want it sooo much!

Ye olde Landy. Series 2a I think

And then got to the New Forest as I'm delivering windows to a mansion being built by the sea and came across a new hazard, animals!
First had horses crossing the road (this was after clearly)

    Then cows

    Then bloody donkeys!

And to finish my view for the night. Hello isle of Wight!!

Yup, clocked the badge but was a bit thrown by the pov-spec wheels it had!

Slightly OT, my dad had a UR in his work to be recomissioned, the owner spent 5k on bushes, suspension and a Mill-Tek along with other engine goodies, said after the work was done it was one of the biggest let downs he's had in a car . It's ruined it for me, given it's one of my dream cars!

I was trying to think on my head who might live round that way when I was sat in the truck last night. Came up with you and Tintin

This was where I was delivering too. New mansion next to old mansion, dunno if you know the place:

Re: Stuff I've seen on the road...

Saw a few worth posting today. One which i cant, as im in the process of buying it, but will hopefully get pics and story up in another thread soon.

First was this, pretty original, and probably what i would have had for my first car if i never had an SR Nova.

Then saw another one, bit long distance this one though. Looks like maybe even a mk1, and a Capri mk1

Saw a small tank. Although thats not really uncommon round here

    Then another tank.

Saw a Ferrari overtaking a push bike. (im sure there is some sort of trademark or copyright infringement here?)

    Thats all for today.

    The tank isn't a tank... It's a 432 light armoured personnel carrier.

I didn't personably take this picture but it was added to Facebook by a friend, apparently headed for a welsh rally
