    Performance thinking

Im thinking about corsa c conversions and would like to ask for some opinion as to what would be easier or bring more advantages between c and zlet/h

my main question is could the c20let match the performance of a z20leh?
and what gearbox options are available?

This is based on fully rebuilding the let i currently have to go in my corsa c sri

I would have though a zlet would be a easier conversion as far as clocks and that go but not sure I it runs a can bus system like a zlet or not

    Re: Performance thinking

its easy enough for me in respect i have the parts, just unsure how well these work together and if there would be more potential using a newer engine.
Personally i think it would be a good combo

would i still need to keep the cars original ecu in place? or could i combine aftermarket managment into the car?

How do you get around setting up the clutch for these conversions?
As its hydraulic on the c so would i need to find a box with the same clutch?

You can use a hydraulic release bearing from, I think, a Vectra B F18 or similar.

I think a ZLET in a Corsa C is easier due to the fly by wire and you can even reflash the car ECU to run the new engine or something.
    They're there, in their room.

So i could keep the f28 gearbox and use the bearing to operate the clutch?

You can use Corsa C Derv mounts and shafts.

Cheers benn, will the bigblock equal length driveshafts i have be of any use?
theres a good thread from 2007 here on one, got as far as mounting the block by the looks of it.

As for mounting i dont really like the idea of cutting a hole in the timing assembly cover
