Nova Rally Car Photos

Rescently i stumbled across a video on youtube of a nova rally car, from what i can see it is a mobil 1 sponsored car but cant find any information on it, was curious to see a few photos of it as i like the design lay out on the car.

Here is the video, have a we watch and see if it jogs any memories and let me know.

Quite odd how it's UK registered, as a Vauxhall but LHD and racing for a Belgian team!

i seem to remember that back in the day when Vauxhall entered events, if they were abroad they would change the badging to Opel. as for the UK plates, it happens more often than not that people abroad will keep the original uk plates on the car so if it did ever get sold, there would be plenty of photos showing it competing with those plates therefore keeping with the history of the car.

i know a guy down west wales who has an original works nova, used it many years ago, sold it when he needed to, but then bought it back. he doesnt use it or will ever sell it, just keeps hidden in his barn.
