    Need help deciding on....

    Right guys and gals

I really enjoy my racing and would love to get into it (unfortunately not born with a silver spoon in my gob) so I've been trying to build a turbo vectra b as a project but honestly think I've bitten off more than I can chew.

So...... Do I carry on and fit a saab turbo lump to the vec or do I buy an already sorted corsa/clio (something small) strip it out and enjoy a go kart feel toy?

All info, experiences and comments welcome.

Had a vectra, clio 182 & now a corsa let, for power the turbo is better but for handling & go kart feel the clio is the best IMO. Vectras aren't the best handling cars to be honest, although nothings more satisfying than building your own car personally, i'd buy a clio 182 & enjoy throwing it round corners, i got mine to 213bhp so was fast aswell

Apart from the 10bhp, the 182's have better interiors & exteriors in my opinion. Xe'd corsa's, well, you can't deny how popular they are so that speaks for itself, if i had the choice, i'd have a 182, stick cams in it, keep it above 5,000rpm & you'l love it

Pick a car, and enter a race series then.

Hoping to do a round of the MG Metro cup.

    Done any motorsport before?

    Its just so expensive.

I' ve done karting years back and track days and love it so want to pursue it.

Going to do my ards test this year at some point but thats just the start of the expense.
