Searching for husbands old Astra GSi

Hi I'm a newbie and hope I'm posting in the right place.

My husband used to own an Astra and has always regretted selling it...familiar story, 1st baby on the way.

Astra *GSi Mk2 R187LGT Blue (Ltd Edition?)

I've searched the net and discovered the car was in Scotland around 2009. *Condition pending, I'd like to find the current owner and lodge an interest in purchasing the car, should it become available. It's was SORN recently so I may be too late.

I tried to search via Sweden to get round data protection issues but the reg doesn't show, perhaps due to being SORN?

Any information appreciated. Not the easiest of cars to locate in very good condition I hear ?

Probably a Mk3, was told it was a Mk2 but having to be stealth like about this.

Yes, found the pic on the net and info via DVLA, but that's all I could find. Sorn exp/due at the start of the month, hence why I wondered if I was too late.

As there were photos of it in Scotland on the web in 09, I just wondered if anyone on here knew of it's whereabouts ( I was referred here via another forum).

The photos I found on the web, not on here, include the one already posted shown in Stornoway and the following showing as Isle of Lewis 09 (I had emailed the poster of the photo but no reply yet)

I'd already posted on the Astra owners club website and someone kindly posted the link to this website, so I hoped a post here was also worth a try. The "phase 2, mk3 GSi" information helps, thanks.
