Anyone with Banana ? What the chuffing heck are these ?
I've been stripping my MK3 for parts and have just been through a tin of small bits and found a couple of switches marked "L" and "R" in a diamond shape. I have no recollection of removing them from the car and no collection of them actually on the car lmao
They have some part numbers on them but Googling has got me nowhere
Can't get pictures up at the moment as the workshop machines have no bluetooth but here are some part numbers :
17900499
17900328
17900325
They are wired in parallel and have a brown/white wire and a brown wire - totally flumoxed me lmao

Part numbers draw a blank on my copy, but I'm near damn certain they're horn buttons off an airbag steering wheel.
Edit: Yep - looks like it (image nicked from a google image search)

Fantastic - that would make perfect sense as I don't remember them being in the car in the years I owned it but if they were hidden behind the airbag I wouldn't have seen them lmao.
Cheers for that bud
