Help me find my Mk4!

Hey guys,

First time poster on here. Just wanted to see if anyone can help me trace the whereabouts of my old Mk4 Astra SRi that I used to own.

I sold the Mk4 to a lad in Wales in April 2009 and was presumably in use until August this year as the DVLA database is confirming it as Unlicensed - however askmid.com is saying that it's insured so it's possible a Motor Trader is currently using it.

The Mk4 is a Star Silver 2.0 SRi, registration is W908 WJX. Modifications (when I sold it) are standard 16" alloys painted black, Irmscher rear skirt and side skirts but no front skirt, angel eyes, plain grille and tinted rear lights. Number plates with the Vauxhall logo to the left. Had done about 105k when I sold it I think.

If anybody knows of it's whereabouts then I'd love to be reunited with the car, I can raise funds to secure the purchase of it through selling my current vehicle. Any info would be brilliant, it was sold to a guy in the South Wales area - not sure if it's there now.

Write to the DVLA, say you have some service paperwork and pass your details on to the new owner.

I know, I guess I'm just too sentimental sometimes - I would like to own it again though.

I think it may be inbetween owners as it's not taxed but it's insured?

Holy thread resurrection!

Has anybody seen this car about? It's now taxed until the end of April this year, and insured too so things are definitely looking up! Just hoping someone may know of it's whereabouts. DVLA would be no use whatsoever in helping me track it down.

The chances of anyone knowing about a single car is low, you'll just have to keep an eye on on the Astra forums and ebay, which could take years!
