Cotton of some sort I expect.
I was given one but returned it - unless you wash car everytime before using it, any movement in wind will move dirt and scratch the paint, so better off not using it IMO.

Mmm not so good I don't really want it scratched but then again I don't really want it to be left all winter without one on

Just use a couple coats of some hard as **** and long lasting sealant or wax, then it has a barrier to the elements.

As for the NSX, plenty of people own decent cars without having the first idea on how to look after them

    Most megs evaporates in seconds...!
Racking my brains for the one that's rock hard, people use it on their wheels too.
Comes in a metal tin, buggered if can recall the name...

    Collinite 476s - Super Double Coat Wax - 18fl.oz
Pretty sure it's that one I was thinking of, good review anyway

I'm a year or 2 out of touch, but the basic stuff yeah.
Read the write up on that in link, doubt you'll want anything else.
Dunno why it's in such a big tin, would last you a million years lol.

Ah the 3 step stuff? That's the one I was thinking of - you can see the carnuba evaporating as you buff it lol.
Nice enough results, easy to use, but doesn't last.
That stuff in link, as a bonus can use it as wheel wax, so twice as useful.

Think that's why Benn uses/used it, likes waxing his car 3 times a week - maybe he's found internet porn now so got better things to do.

Main reason for me is bastard trees ... get leaves everywhere . Inside vents , scuttle , inside the boot shut .
Seaguls use my car for target practice too .
It can sometimes sit for a couple of weeks without being used .
