I got a text the other day from someone offering me his Corsa B C20LET as a swap.

I'm not a drag racing or turbo expert but his figures seem a bit over the top.

According to him it does 11s at santa pod and made 322bhp at 8 psi

I didn't bother wasting my time with him but I bet if I asked him what turbo hes running he would say the standard one lmao

How come everyone selling a car like this or a Subaru says it has 420bhp (or whatever) yet when you ask them for proof the best you get in reply is 'i bort dis ov my m8 an he put a big exorst an stuf on it an it duz 300mph', and **** like that?

I went to look at a WRX last week with a view to breaking it, Advertised with "Over 320bhp" and "everything done to it"

Got there expecting a big turbo, front mount, equal manifolds etc to find it completely standard with just an ebay airfilter.

The bloke wanted a grand for it and his bartering point was "not any less with all the stuff done to it". Couldnt help but tell him it was actually standard and walked away.
