Probably a bit of a sad old bastard post but Zafira GSI's...

For some strange reason despite not having children or loads of people to ferry about and not being a convicted rapist I have a hankering for a Zafira GSI as a winter runner.

I do actually think they would look the bollocks on some 19" snowflakes with a little 30/40mm drop? Is this feasible? I assume so but I haven't seen it done. By feasible I mean not chopping the hell out of everything, little more than a plastic arch trim?

I realise that they are a Z-LET and I have been out of things for a while but is there an abundance of cheap bits available for them to make them a little more interesting? (Please note that I would NOT want stolen software from some parasite dickhead like BeArDy or any unusable 'onion bhaji' spec verniers from his equally bent tax-dodging associate Jav).

I would be wanting little more than 'bolt on' stuff as I genuinely cannot be arsed to do much more than that. lmao

So eh, why do you want one?

Do they have the same horrible driving position as a normal Zafira?

To be honest fella I honestly do not know?

I quite like the look of them and the thought of being able to rip all the seats out and use it as a big wagon/shag bus interests me for some reason? Can you do anything epic with all the back seats? Do they swivel or fold up fully etc?

I have never driven a Zafira but I have always liked the Astra/Ford vans when played with and it's kind of along those lines?

I said this to my mate and got a look of complete disgust. lmao

Rear two seats fold into the floor.
Middle row, seat section folds upwards( from this _| to this ||) and whole middle row can be slid towards the back of the front seats leaving a pretty big load area.
A pillar is a pretty big blind spot, as its so thick.

As pervy as this sounds, could you get a double mattress in the back with the seats folded up?

I also love them and if I keep spuffing up any more women I'm gonna need one lmao

I'd of thought 19's would fit as it's simular to the mk4 astra wheel arch size would need to roll the arches and remove the plastic but would look sweet

That's ok as I want something usable for a few night stays in the middle of nowhere with the air rifle, pelting rabbits and cooking on a fire but not having to worry about slapping up and taking down a massive tent.

lmao My thoughts exactly. I had the Mk4 in mind too as a basis?

Zafira's drive horribly, unless the GSi has some sort of super special F1 chassis hidden underneath I imagine it'd be the same....

I'm breaking a Zaffy at the moment, I can measure the bit in the back for your mattress if you want?
Sitting in the front seat, everything feels really solid, there's no knocks or creaks - I give A1 for build quality.

    Bump.

    Violet, that would be handy.

Obviously, as I have received PM's from some complete and utter BELLEND trying to suggest that I would be jealous of a Zafira (he must think that it is some sort of 'exotica') I thought that I would bump this post. Seriously. He thinks someone would be jealous of an old model Zafira. lmao lmao lmao

Hey wankshaft, it's your lucky day. I'm selling a nice (and cheap) Zafira (see the cars for sale section of Mig) which you could soon bling up to VX/R lookalike status. Stacks of room in the back for executive briefcases, stocks/shares certificates and sealed laptop bags with bricks inside you can sell at the side of the road.
