Hey have you seen any astra with the c20let in any scrap yard selling? I am looking for one.
i a doing a corsa b build.
took a fiat for scrap the other day and this was sitting up on one of the containers, guy said he gets loads on interest in it but the other side is completely missing, was removed when it came in

Wasn't really planning an update today, but did find this pretty cool 240.
dont know if you like others posting here but heres a nova thats just came in to my local scrap yard in glasgow, its complete inside and under the bonnet and is actualy a realy good shell on the inside.

get that nova stripped, panels, doors boot etc look to be in good nic too take you half hour to get the lot(with the right tools
little bit of sanding down on each panel, id say youll m,ore than double your money..............

the chassis legs were ok,a bit of surface rust that i could see but not much.no holes in them. car was prety straite and i did try to buy it complete but he wanted 350 for it without paperwork
That's my Saturday morning sorted with that nova. Is the yard hard to find?
Only yard i've been to down your way is Fallon's in Paisley and i'm getting a bit fed up of 'Ironside' trying to rip me off. lol
Also out of interest Craig, are those 240s RWD? Still see a good few of the torslanda estates on the road considering even the last ones are 20 years old now.
Wasnt planning on updating this any time soon, but wont be out and about again until next week, so just a little one today.
Got lucky with this Aero kitted convertible today. Was in great condition, and had loads of bits worth saving.
Then had the gauntlet thrown down with this Clubsport 330ci, when one of the lads said "good luck getting the bits you want out of it, the passenger door's jammed shut"
Challenge accepted. Took me a while, but got there in the end with a lump hammer and long bar. Then had the same trouble with the bootlid, but thankfully the forklift driver made short work of it for me.
Thats it for now, But got a big roadtrip planned for wednesday, should be seeing around 2000 cars, so will have a nice update then.

Yeah to be honest it's not unusual, that's only 3 or 4 yards I have planned.

This weeks road trip had to be cancelled, as i needed to pop out on Saturday so did half of the yards then, making it less financially viable to go that way again for a while.
Did find a few things worth posting though. First these 2 Mopeds, which take me back to my youth. Both in really good nick too.
One was an Express, the other was the Suzuki equivilent.
The reason i was out in the first place was to look for an adjustable steering columb from a mk3 Cavalier. A harder thing to find than you might think, but after a few yards i found this Diplomat.
It was new in, and i had to move it to get the door open properly. Seemed to run fine and was in really good nick.
Then had a nose around this imported Forester Turbo, which had some nice bits on that we never got over here.
Another Mk4 cab, Nothing really special about it.
A 635csi, which didnt appear to be in bad condition atall.
And This, which i managed to save a few bits off. (Forgot to take a picture of the ridiculous Lexus lights).

Just the kit. It was a 1.0 12v I think. Didn't really pay it much attention as I was in a rush.
