Could of easily bent a lower arm or the chassis.
Lower arms on Corsas are plated so I'd expect the shock to of bent the chassis personally. Just get under it and take a look
the lower arms should bend before damaging the chassis, as there designed to take the damage as not to bend the chassis. but also depeneds on the impact of the crash, angle, speed ect
turning right slightly hard whats the chances of it being the chassis?
as said depends on the position it was hit, most chance it will be lower arm or steering rack bent or just tracking get pics up if u can
wel got the lower arm today aint on yet but find out tomoz
Crikey man !
Get a jack, look under the car, chassis rails should look identical either side, if one doesn't then you have bent the chassis.
A guy locally did something in his nova a few weeks back and that had bent the chassis, car has done 30k as well so it was far from a rotten pig, Corsas do run plated TCA's which does mean there is more of a chance that it would bend the chassis with that sort of impact, its a risk you take with those sort of arms.
had the arm and hub done and they said the chassis is fine and its the aintroll ball bent? that right?
aintroll? Whats that?
You mean anti roll bar? If bent, change it
We cannot tell from here
For the love of God, please read the rules
funny one
What is?
For the love of God, please read the rules
I presume you have had it tracked up since all this work ?
putting the roll ball on then tracked
you can mess up your tracking by simply unbolting and then refitting a suspension strut, main things to look at after the accident is for anything that looks bent, if it looks fine then just chuck it in for tracking.
9/10 nothing's really damaged just tweaked out.
roll bar going on later but now it pullin to hard to the right just to be the roll bar any ideads?
so you haven't tracked it up and you expect a miracle?
replacing parts will not put your tracking straight.
i no but the roll bar is bent so gonna need changing and then we doig tracking

Surely getting it tracked up would of been the first thing to of done.
