Scrapyards in and around glasgow

Hi,

Who does everyone use on the west coast? I've got 3 cars and some loose scrap to go in the next month or so.

Can you pile loose scrap into the car and then handball it out at the far end? afaik they dont like grabbing the car if they cant absolutely see whats in it?

I assume drain all fluids etc and remove tyres?

What sort of scrap prices are around at the moment?

Anything else I need to know?

Have a look on gumtree, papers etc, plenty of scrappies even come and collect your old non-runner for metal.

yes but they dont pay you and the money is more important than getting the cars out of the way

I have 4 shells, 5 cats, 3 sets of alloys, about a tonne of scrap iron pipe..........
