    ethonol ?

    anybody tired using ethonol in there cars as i was gonna give it a go there is a supplier near me but dont know how the car is gonna run on it.

    if its standard i guess it will run like a bag of ****e, and be totally wasted on the road. i know on the sand-racer bikes that run dope they cut the emulsion tubes in the carbs and jet them right up so the fuel just pours in. hello 2 mpg

    i think if you wanted to run methanol you would want twin carbs/bike carbs or ITBs. and also make sure that all your fuel components are safe to use with it, it will eat a lot of fuel pumps.

    *edit* sorry, misread thought you said methanol, not ethanol. although points still stand. ethanol is 129 octane (methanol is 123ron) so it aint gonna run in any standard motor
