I've been doing my usual defending of MS on another forum and came across a fact that really really surpised me. Of the 111 driver records recorded on Wikipedia - (stuff like most wins, most points, most wins in a season blah blah) Schumacher holds 34. That didn't surprise me but what did was that Fangio holds absolutely no record at all - not one solitary top spot!

TBH as far as I'm concerned it proves only one thing - you cannot compare a modern F1 driver with one of the fossils - the statistics fail. I found it pretty interesting though.

still, i agree, stats mean nothing, they can usually be construed any way you like to make someone or thing look good or bad...

Not a fan of either but I think it will be a comfortable stroll for Alonso & Ferrari this season. If the pit crew can perform,lol.

I'll be at the Melbourne GP on the 28th if anyone feels like meeting for a beer or two.
