Im planning on upgrading my engine to a higher spec short motor.
What im wondering is what my short motor is worth?
Spec;
Standard pistons fitted with new Mahle rings around 1500miles ago
Standard Conrods
Mahle mains and big ends fitted around 1500miles ago
X20XEV block. Very very good bores. No top lip ect. Painted glass black
ARP Conrod bolts. Around 1500miles old
8v baffle plate gasket
Alloy 16v sump
1500mile old pattern oil pump. However. we did look at the gears inside and they have the same markings as the std pump gears. But i can only presume that they are. I cant say the are.
Main oil seal is around 1500miles old
Water pump 1500miles old
ARP headstud kit touqued 6 times
Cometic 1.9mm gasket touqued 6 times but only running for around 3k miles :doh:
Dipstick tube in silver
All gaskets/seals were replaced when rebuilt. 1500 miles ago.
It would not come with;
Starter
Alternater
rear water pipe
rear hose
sensers
oil filter/oil cooler takoff
Turbo return pipe (The bit you screw into the block)
Cam belt kit
Since the last build i coverd about 1500miles in it and i done about 6 runs at pod. The most boost it has seen is 18psi
The reason i took it out was because of the clutch. But then changed my mined about what car i was putting it back in :doh: then changed my mined again about the spec i want :doh:lmao
I thinks thats everything......
