hi can any one tell me why compbrake motorsport has unibals for sale at 150 qwid and harry hockleys are 270 im building up a rally car are the cheaper ones ok any one used them cheers
The compbrake ones for £150 are entry level and the Hockly ones are all singing all dancing..... as far as that design goes anyway. You can get more expensive ones from compbrake aswell if you needed them to be a certain quality of bearing.
Ive got Hockly ones fitted to mine, the bearings are the key as there not cheap to replace and i would assume cheaper uniballs have cheaper bearings which wont last long on a rallycar.
heard alot of bad reports on them tbh, false economy really. Fine for a road/track car, but for a rally car you cant beat the genuine item. I looked into them for my nova, as they seemed good for the money.
