Yep mine has gone up on my Cossie and my traders policy, my wifes has gone up on the BMW as well, neither of us have added points or had accidents and got 13+ years NCB.
I've had to pay for gap insurance on the BMW and an agreed valuation on my Cossie to make sure I dont get 2p for them should anything happen - its a joke, i've got insurance for insurance!!!!!
yes just checking mine out for renewal at the end of the month and its gone from £219 to £282... with no claims or points or any reason, i did ring them up and moan and they have dropped it down to £239 but it not the point.. direct line that is and they will do a deal if you ring up and moan lol
im currently with DL and my renewal is due this month. this years price was near enough the same as last years but upon shopping around, ive found a better deal with another one of the big companies (i forget which one - i got the wife to sort it!)
Too many people are claiming for injuries now so insurance is only going to get more expensive, I bet everyone knows someone who has put a false whiplash claim in or similar? Well this is now having an affect on premiums.
I'm with Admiral too. If you get bored, ring Elephant for a quote. It's the same company as Admiral, they can pull up each others quotes and they'll usually try and beat the other. lmao
Mine went down by over £200 so no complaints here. Also I got quotes elsewhere and mine is a minimum of £500 less than the others I tried.
