    C.V. Joint Failure - Anyone seen one like this before?

    Put two brand new C.V. Joints into my Cavalier SRI a few weeks ago. And one failed on Wednesday night.

    I've seen them tear the insides out before, but I was absolutely shocked to see this!

    Trouble is I don't think you can actually get new CV joints anymore, even from Vauxhall they're reconned. So unless they X-ray them I guess there's no way to tell what damage they've suffered in the past.

    Exact same happend to my Corsa,not good when your doing ***mph. Did it just fail all of a sudden?

    happened to me in my last xe nova while turning a roundabout, i nearly ended up in mcdonalds car park via the fencepost, it completely disintegrated on me with the ballbearings rattling out
