Hi guys,I've been offered a J Reg Cav GSI with 85k on the clock, every old MOT, and MOT and TAX till Feb. No known faults.
What is it worth?
whats back arches like ? what the drivers seat like , any mods ? standard exhaust ? colour ? paintwork condition ? recent service ? when was last cam belt change done ? did they change the plastic pullies aswel ?
No rust on it,drivers seat is fine, its got a de-cat and janspeed exhaust, dark grey with laquer peel on bonnet but fine everywhere else, dunno about last service etc
Everything else is standard
standard is good worth more that way , i would say for a good gsi £900, the one you described £750 people may say more some may say less , i know you can get them for alot less as my mate got a black one last month £500 with brand new tyres and a year ticket.

well you valued a rough sri at 1200 iirc so who knows
Xbox Live! = DEATHS UNCLE
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: 9000 problem
Lol cheers for that Jas,really helpful!
So him saying £1150 for it is a bit much!?
Whats this rough SRI I valued at £1200 anyway?! I remember having 2 up for £1500
£500 then kill it
Manifolds, flanges, collectors, bends and car transport PM your needs.
Why?!
£700 tops, esp. if the paint is a bit rough.
Teeth? LUXURY! When I was a child we ate by putting rocks in our mouth and jumping up and down.
ok for £500 ill kill it lmao

^ me to
So the conclusion is its not worth £1150 then?!
Well thanks for the extremely helpful advice
Its worth what some1 is willing to pay for it.If its clean and solid underneath itl be worth decent money as they are getting hard to find.
My bro had his up for £1500 i think it was.It was a very clean, black,H plate 2wd Gsi.It was solid underneath after near enough the whole floor/chassis legs were welded for its MOT.He swapped it for an Evo2,then swapped that for an E36 M3 a day later.Done well out it as he only paid £500 for the Cavvy with a porous head.
and on that note, thread closed. "whats it worth" threads are not allowed.
