...... my vin plate ???????
Got a plate to right of pedals under a little plastic flip out cover, plus a barcode thingy on my dashboard but under the bonnet on the front panel, all i got is a bertone conversion number on a small metal plate. Any clues ????/

Could you not find the information on the logbook?
Is it not on the slam panal or under the carpet in the car by the drivers seat???
....... there should be a vin plate on the front end just under the bonnet ??????
later plates are just stickers on the drivers b post...should start WOTFG or something along those lines...been off work 2 weeks and my minds gone dead

Is there nothing in the bottom left hand corner of the windscreen? Lots of the manufactures seem to have taken to this in recent years.
......... 3 plates. one under drivers seat, another on pillar next to drivers seat and another on a barcode thingy on my dash right up against windscree. How come i aint got one under bonnet when my dads new vectra has??
What about the bulkhead at the back of the engine bay? If your really bothered about it,when your next in your local dealer giving that lad some grieve again, ask him.
some vectras have it on the b post,others have it on the landing panel....its funny thoe if you have a sticker one and you need to replace it,it comes through as a metal/landing panel one...but the idea of having one in the windscreen is a god send to us parts people....saves trying to open a bonnet up after its hit a wall at 50mph........the engine code should be on a sticker on the cambelt cover if needed
